March 2012 | 13.5 M€ NWO investment for large-scale proteomics research facility ‘Proteins@Work‘ granted to a consortium of universities and research institutes, including Erasmus MC Rotterdam.

Proteomics of neuronal development and the role of USP7

Our new paper in Genes & Development highlights the important role of USP7 in our cells. Think of this protein as as a ‘quality control manager’, making sure other proteins in our cells are doing their jobs at the right time and place. Our study provides a detailed map of how USP7 works during brain development.

Our paper on the characterization of novel molecular targets of the ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP7) is out now in Science Advances. Great and fruitful multi-omics collaboration with the Verrijzer Lab at Erasmus MC.💪
